Anyone know a Farmer dumb enough to buy this
crap? Internet con artist feigning interest in one of my tractors requests information and then
sends me the following offer. Sorry for the caps, it pasted in that way.

THANKS FOR THE CONSIDERATION.I THINK I WILL HAVE TO TAKE YOUR WORD FOR IT.I AM OKAY WITH THAT PRICE AND THE DESCRIPTION YOU GAVE ME.I WILL SEND YOU A CHECK WHICH IS BEING ISSUED BY A CLIENT WHO OWES ME MONEY. I WILL GET THE CHECK MADE OUT TO YOU IF ITS OKAY BY YOU. THE CHECK WILL HOWEVER BE AN OVER DRAFT SINCE WHAT I AM BEING OWED IS MORE THAN THE PURCHASE AMOUNT.I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF I CAN TRUST YOU TO SEND ME MY BALANCE WHEN THE CHECK CLEARS. THE CHECK WILL BE MADE OUT TO THE TUNE OF $6500 S0 I WILL NEED YOU TO DEDUCT YOUR $2400 WHEN THE CHECK CLEARS AND REMIT MY BALANCE TO ME VIA WESTERN UNION MONEY TRANSFER AND THEN I WILL GET A RELIABLE SHIPPING COMPANY TO COME AND HELP ME GET THE TRACTOR WHICH IS A SURPRISE GIFT FOR MY FATHER WHO IS A FARMER. I WOULD LOVE TO SEND YOU CASH BUT THAT WILL BE TOO EXPENSIVE FOR ME FROM THIS SIDE OF THE WORLD WHERE I AM AND BESIDES I HAVE SPENT ALL MY CASH ON SEASON'S
CELEBRATIONS.I HOPE YOU HAD A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEWYEAR.PLEASE REPLY IF MY METHOD OF PAYMENT IS OKAY BY YOU AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OTHERWISE I WILL NEED YOUR NAME AS YOU WANT IT TO APPEAR ON THE CHECK AND YOUR PHYSICAL ADDRESS SO THAT I CAN HAVE IT SENT TO YOU AND A CONTACT PHONENUMBER. I WILL BE EXPECTING YOUR MAIL SO THAT WE CAN PROCEED.BYE AND STAY BLESSED.

WALE SCOTT.

Today's Featured Article - The Cletrac General GG and the BF Avery A - A Bit of History - by Mike Ballash. This article is a summary of what I have gathered up from various sources on the Gletrac General GG and the B. F. Avery model A tractors. I am quite sure that most of it is accurate. The General GG was made by the Cleveland Tractor Company (Cletrac) of Cleveland, Ohio. Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac. ... [Read Article]
