I believe the old I H Hy-tran was red, wasn't it. The water could be a build up on condesate along with rain down the gear shift. I suggest parking in a shed and occasionally running the tractor enough to heat the whole tractor. If this is not practical, drain the tractor and decant the oil from the water.
