Hi Everyone and thanks for the responses, Actually mine was not leaking, but I was going to put in a new clutch and pressure plate so I decided to put a new freeze plug while I was in there. Preventive maintenance, you see! Anyway, I split the tractor and for all who might need to know for a future teardown, it is a 2" disc type plug. The convex side ) is facing out, and you smack it with something to expand it. I put sealer on it,just in case. Anyway, thanks again!
