NO NO NO; It is right hand thread.
Righty-tighty, lefty-loosey.
Take the pump out of the tractor, remove the capscrews that hold the pump housing in place, put a flat piece of metal into the pump gears and turn the coupling nut LEFT to remove!!!
It will tighten by itlesf when the tractor turns the pump against pressure.
