I am re-painting my Super A; second time in about 10 years. This has been my working tractor and it does not have the original engine. I have been using my "lye and soap" mixture to remove grease and old paint. As the red paint comes off, there is white paint everywhere underneath. As a matter of fact, I knew the white paint was underneath, but I did not know what it meant 10 years ago. I have considered painting the tractor white to return it to its "actual original color". But, it will still have to be my "working tractor", and I don't think the white paint would look to good covered with brown dust from gardening. Before some of you get upset about authenticity, I do not intend to claim that it will be "original", but obviously white was the original color. Give me some opinions-white or red?
