Brought home a B from my Aunts place this fall. The tractor was in a half fallen down shed and hasn't run in who kows how long. The engine was stuck but it came apart fairly easy. I cleaned up the sleeves and they didn't look to bad until I measured the bores and found out how worn they were. OK, so now it needs sleeves and pistons. No problem, I have a set on the shelf for a F-12/A/B so I get one of the new sleeves and check it against the old ones and the bottom outside diameter is 1/8 bigger on the old ones (where the seal sits). The bore of the old ones is 3". Then I start stripping down the rest of the block and notice the plate blocking the hole under the distibutor mount. Looks like a mounting for a hydraulic pump.It also has a dipstick. I need to know what this engine is so I can order the right sleeves, gaskets, etc. The block casting number is 356818 R2, serial # IMAM 18781. I have the parts book for the A and B but that number's not in there. Could it be a Super A or C block? Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Ed

How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
