So do I have suspected problem with my 300U if I have to do the hot water trick in cold temps to get the fuel to ignite or is this a normal procedure?? Just had to use again yesterday to plow more snow!! As I said just changed plugs, points, condenser, coil, and plug wires. Set points to .020 and plugs are Autolite 388. Previously had Autolite 3116. Which plug out there, any brand, would give the hottest spark for me?? Thanks!!
