Vance: the Farmall 'Super' series tractors were upgrades of the older letter series tractors. Generally, the upgrades came from increased engine displacement and from a slight bump in compression. For instance, the M is 248 CID while the Super M is 264 CID with a 10 HP increase as a result. See our IHC Nebraska Data Table for more info at our website Old Oak Farmalls.
