I have a Carter model UT carb on my Super A, but not the typical model listed in the parts manual, and while I have managed to get all of the parts I need for a rebuild I am missing an important one. They make a new needle, but apparently don't make the replacement needle seat for my model (they have a smaller version but it dosen't fit my unit). Unfortunately even with the new needle, mine still leaks, so I think the seat is worn. I've tried cleaning it so I know it's not dirt etc., causing the problem. I'm thinking of puting a little grinding compound on a steel needle that I have and trying to dress the seat up, but would rather find a new or used seat if possible. If I sent pictures, do you suppose you might have a used seat layng around I might buy? Thanks.
