No argument, are there even any equipment makers that use oil bath anymore? One reason may be that paper is cheaper to produce and keeps the filter makers in business. I have a K&N on my GMC pickup, thought I could feel slightly more throttle response when I installed it several years ago, but have never clocked it. I don't use it in dusty conditions. I would certainly not want to convert it to oil bath. I just like leaving things original on older tractors.
