Todays project on the M is too tighten the main drive belt and install a new generator belt. My trouble here is....after loosening the bolt that hold the outter pulley in place....how do you get that section of pulley loose on the threads? Years of not moving has it on there pretty tight....not much rust though....but I'm assuming that a previous owner has tried also because theres a tab that looks like it was put there too use a driver against, but its now pointed on the front? I have had it soaking in pb blaster for about 2 weeks now. Any good advice before I start?
