I just bought a 16gal. drum of Quaker State 85W-140 to refill my "M" rearend and trans. This stuff was as red as ATF and smelled like oil. Someone may have put this stuff in your Super "A"s rearend before you got it. The milky appearance is defineatly from moisture.
