Yes I took the sleeves and pistons out the other night.
Not too much of a drama although it's not something you can do on your own. We actually used a soft aluminium drift and a sledgehammer used with care. The sleeves are only held at the top of the block by about an inch, so once you've got it moving it comes out really easily.

Turns out 2 of the 3 cylinders had broken rings, so I'm feeling very justified in carrying out this work!

I just need to clean up the head and sort out the valves. There's a question mark over a couple of the valve seats which are looking a bit pitted, so hopefully a good valve grind will do the trick. If not then I may need to get new inserts put in.

I'm putting together a web page that will cover this project, so I'll keep you posted.
