Fabien, if you can't see any obvious problems on the outside the likely culprit is the collar that locks the 2 bull-pinion shafts together ( the 2 shafts the brakes run on). It's a fairly big job to get to them, you have to pull the axles, PTO shaft, bull gears,bull-pinion carriers,differential, and split the differential to get the collar out and replace it.
Sorry for the bad news. :(
Befor you do all that try to get the shaft the pedal pushes to go further into the case.
