IH produced several kits to increase creature comforts on the F series tractors and the foot brake kit was one of them. A Regular was never produced with foot brakes but in about 1938-39 IH produced a kit to retro-fit all early F-20s and Regulars with foot brakes. The kits included everything necessary to convert from hand to foot brakes and often the local dealer would trade in the hand brake parts in hopes of selling them to other farmers still using the hand brake set-up. These kits were high priced for their days and were only sold in limited numbers.
