No checkvalves that I know of. The tee on the front of the main tank has two regular fittings, and the third leg is a small tube that goes back into the tank. The size of the tube is (I assume) designed to provide proper pressure to the carb and squirt the excess back into the tank. The other tee is just a regular tee. Be sure and keep the shut off on the hood tank closed, or fuel pressure can backflow and overfill it and it will overflow. I'm assuming you'll be using gas fulltime, but if you don't be sure and shut off the hood tank before opening the main fuel tank to avoid contaminating the gas with kerosene. Also, when shutting down, switch back over to gas. If you leave the carb full of kero, you'll have a heck of a time getting it started next time around. Paul
