The difference between B and BN is the length of the rear axles and axle tubes. On my '47 B, there is a gap of a few inches between the seat and the right fender. On photos of a BN, it looks like the axles are enough shorter that the right fender is almost against the seat. I assume that right and left axles are the same length on the BN, but I'm not sure what the width is between rear tires.
