Gentlemen, Hope this finds you all warmer and drier than it is here (-30degF and 12" snow this week) - blown head gasket on the 1530B skidloader or I would be happy to move snow - had to have the neighbor come over w/ a green machine! Anyway - my question is regarding the electrical system on my 656 gas - the 'GEN' light has been on occasionally. Being slightly new to this, I've been told I shold replace the generator w/ a newer alternator. What are the do's and don't's? Should redo the whole electrical system - no need to keep it stock - that's what the superH is for. Hoping to get the 6 running better and find a loader before next winter to keep that green iron off the yard :) Thanks, Eric p.s. muffler and pipe on exhaust all the way to the manifold are rusted off - anybody have advice on a chrome straight-pipe?
