Larry: My mistake, I posted to your thread below, and then went right to this one. Looks like you both had 560s. Trouble a lot of guys have with 282 diesels is thinking glow plugs are only for cold weather starting. I go back to when these tractors were new, guys frouned on them because of time for glow plugs when starting. I used to tell a Deere guy down the road,"At least I have something when I get it going. He was running a 2510 Deere. We both used to tell another guy with an MF who used to tell us no need to climb that high getting on tractor. We used to tell him if you are up where you can see what your doing you don't have to climb on and off all the time.
