I only have a comment about your problem.

First of all, I own an 04, it is my understanding that some W-4's were equipped with hand clutches.
Based on that, I would think that the clutches would be the same, provided that they were for the hand clutch.

This question could be answered by determining if there is a difference in part numbers of the foot and hand clutches.
