Hi, on my brother's 2250 loader controls just push the loader arm control valve all the way forward and it goes into float mode. It was the same on his previous 1550 loader on a 434D which is much the same as a 2444. The 2444 is the industrial version of a 444 with heavier front axle and could have fwd/rev shuttle shift. JB
