Can I throw in $.02 here and say that on the 300 up at my folks farm we had I think a 6' blade. This was an original IH that went on the front loader. We also had a 2pt rear blade for lane work. I plowed a good hand full of one to two foot snows with that, but deeper was when the neighbor would come over. He had a HUGE hi-way truck V PLOW on the front of a BIG John Deere. This thing could go through 5 and 6 feet of snow with just BRUTE power. A 300 is a little at it's limits with a blower in wet snow. Powder snow it should be fine. Just don't beat on your 300 too hard or you will rip up the PTO shaft. Jeff
