I think I need to pull the Transmission cover off my W6 to get to a problem with the gears. The manula I have says to pull the cover straight up in order to allow for the shifter forks to clear. This is is my first try a this type of thing How high do I have to lift the cover from the transmission housing before the shifter forks will clear? Do I have to remove the clucth and brake pedals? How hard is it to get the forks lined back correctly to reinstall the transmission cover. Also, I managed to break off the PTO lever from the shaft going into the PTO housing. Can the PTO housing simply be pulled straight out of the tractor after unbolting it? In worse case would the housing from an M or H work on the W6?
