My H had one side of the differential housing broken, the collar(may not be right word) that sticks out the right side that the bearing rides on snapped off flush with the side of the housing. (Replaced it) Also (likely related) all the bolts that hold the two halves of the diff. together were loose.(Tightened them.)Two bearings in the rear end had lost their keepers, but no balls yet. (Replaced them) The teeth on the inside of the 4th/5th slider (that mesh with the main drive shaft) were gone, as was the pilot bearing.(Replaced them) Also the teeth on all the gears in the transmission show extreme wear from abusive shifting. (Lost heart, ran out of money, it works fine, they'll run another 15 years.)
