We have a 666 hydro gas. its about the sweetest tractor we've ever had, especially on the square baler. But its fuel consumption leaves much to desired. I know the hydro takes extra fuel, but it seems like it takes close to 4gal/hr doing anything. We have a 340 that will use 3gal/hr at full power, but is real economical when run at less than full power. Carb has been overhauled with a new main jet. But it seems like its always running abit rich. No adjustment on the electric shutoff main jet.I think I remember reading somewhere that there was an aftermarket kit that allowed you to adjust the mixture or in some fashion increase the fuel economy. Can anyone help me or am I remembering things I never saw? Thanks for any info.
