No doubt some of you have noticed the discussions lately on 6v starting systems, I wanted to mention a development I had heard of that should interest tractor users.

Check out Optima, they have gel type batteries that boast all sorts of features including increased lifespan. They even make a 6v version.

Note: I'm not affiliated with Optima, they just make a great product.
