Bryce, the points in the distributer are located behind the plastic cover plate that is behind your distributor rotor. You might see if they are sticking. If they are you can give them several swipes with a point file. I think I checked mine for stick by cranking the motor over with the distributer cap off and seeing if they were opening and closing. Just be double sure your tractor is in neutral before you start cranking so it doesnt lurch. Hope this helps. RayA
