I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve here. I restore
tractors for a living and have always had good luck getting
the original switches working and I like to preserve the
authenticity of the tractor by not installing extra parts like
additional switches, etc. Even if you have to switch to 12
volts to help with starting in extreme cold, etc. you can still
run with the original switch. Please give a little more info
of why you want to add the toggle switch and then maybe I
can help a little more. If you have a switch problem, maybe
I can help fix it or find a replacement for you.
