Bob, unbolt the engaging lever from the top of the transmission and push it forward and this will bring the shifting lever pin high enough to the rear to allow you to push the collor forward and engage it in the collar. At the same time, ease the collar foward and the shifting lever back to the original upright position. Hope this is clear enough. Merlin
