By welding a piece of scrap to the bolt holding the gearlever I got it out ok , and yes , the end of the gearlever was VERY worn , probably only 2/3 the size of the AW6 I have to replace it. The selector groove for 1-R is also worn , particularly on the back side. I managed to align the AW6 , no troubles , but this one is a whole new ball game !. The 3-4 is right , 4-5 is a bit forward , 1-R is well forward , but I can't move any of them !. I have the nearside wheel off the ground , my "better half" is moving the wheel for me , but no go !. Should I concentrate on getting 4-5 right first ?, will that make the 1-R selector free up some ?. Any helpful suggestions gratefully received !. Rob J.
