Dan: I can quite safely tell you no 300, 350 or 460 pulls 3 by 14 or 16 with no problem anywhere. The will struggle with it under the very best of conditions. My farm was a sandy loam, no soil anywhere plows as easy as sandy loam. I used a No.60- 3x16 plow behind 300 and 4x16 behind 560D. On a field 1,000 feet long 560 would pass 300 about every 5 to 6 rounds. I also later used a 5x16 semi mount behind 656D. None of those tractors ever broke any speed limits with the plows listed behind them. That suited fine as sandy loams quite often have a few big stones. I can also tell you, trip bottoms don't always do their thing if speed is involved.
