Thump! Thump! Thump!

I noticed that I had one wheel bolt missing on the left side this weekend. I hear and feel a mild thump as the left rear wheel comes around and wonder if it is due to the bolt missing or is their something wrong inside the axel housing. Can I get the bolt from a hardware store or is IH the only source for a IH 140 rear lug bolt?
