Dig, I just removed the front end of my H a few weeks ago. You can remove the front end assembly including the front wheels and front casting and leave the engine attached to the tractor. What I did was put a support under the middle of the tractor (I used a heavy duty jack stand) bell housing after jacking up the front end. That way the whole front end is cantilevered out. Then you can start removing the front wheels and front casting by removing the front side rail bolts. you can leave the side rails on and remove the front engine cover with and accessories so you can get the camshaft out.
