It doesn't matter if you have a distributor or a mag., the firing order should be 1342, starting from the number 1 position on the cap. All of the Farmall gasoline engines run clockwise and the letter diesels run counterclockwise. To set the firing order remove the #1 plug and raise the cylinder to the top on the compression stroke. This you will know because it blows out air on compression. You can hear it and feel it. Double check it with a bent wire through the plug hole and you can feel the piston in the up position. Now replace the wires as described. You should be good to go. If you still have problems look elsewhere.
