That doesn't sound like your problem. If it misses after it warms up, I'd check the plugs, and maybe the points & condenser also. It sounds like went the plug warms up it starts to fail. It's a common problem. The order for both tractors is the same. 1, 3,4,2. Check where the rotor is when it should fire cyl 1. One or the other could have been installed 180 deg off. It will still run alright, as long as you realize it and run the wires correctly. The #1 should be at the front outside "corner".
