Ih 474 was built in Doncaster UK from 72 > 76 62Hp good Tractor main problems pours liners (not expensive to replace)and brakes need bleeding problem is there is only 2 oils in tractor, Engine oil, and Hy-tran in back end, Hy-tran does everything from one resivior (gearbox, backend, steering, hydraulics & brakes) gets dirty after time, brakes not like that very much. Original Operators manuals not very helpfull. In 1976 due to lack of engine supply the 474 was replaced by the 475 same trctor but had a Perkins Engine this was the same engine as the MF 50& 50B diggers used this is a very sought after farm utility tractor.
