Lamont, Sounds like you got a Stage II SM there! Use Guy Fays book to desifer the Serial # and pre & Sufix Letters that tell you about the tractor. The price is reletive....If it is me, Run your hands into your pockets, kick at the dirt, shake your head from side to side and grimmis your face.and tell the owner you got $1000, cash, today and you will take this headache off his hands. He should counter, then you , then him. Hopefully you get it for less than his asking price. If he gets insulted by your low offer, he will get uninsulted as the counters get closer to what he will take. Good Luck, John A.
