Forgot, be sure to wipe the tractor down with a petroleum nutralizer to get rid of any oil/grease, the paint will eventually flake if you don't (I used a NAPA product , #6383 Kleanz-easy, surface cleaner). Tell your IH dealer what it is you're gonna paint, they'll give you the right "Red" and primer for the job. You might want to touch up any small dents with a little automotive puddy. I'd spend a little time on the painting (do it right). If you did the amount of work with the wire brush and fine sand paper I did, you don't want to crap out on the final stage.
