Actually, both. I took the generator in yesterday and had it tested. He said it was doing nothing. He suggested switching to alternator. According to him, years ago, the generators were very picky about the voltage regulators that went with them. Even though I am using it as a working tractor at the time, I would like to restore it someday, thus, I am inclined to fix the generator and keep it as is.
Any thoughts?
