Michael: If you remove the rad cap when engine is reasonably warm and with tractor running, do you get any bubbles in the rad? Your description sounds a bit like my Super A several years back. You retorqued the head, but it hasn't stopped. I wouldn't rule out either of Dave's suggestions of head gasket or crack. I tend to favour the idea it is head gasket. I think most cracks would allow more water in the oil than you are getting. My tractor was the head gasket, that cured it. Of course the head gasket also depends on which way it leaks. It could leak from water jacket to top of piston or to valve push rods and oil pan, or both. Leaking from water jacket to top of piston will cause a lot of bubbles in rad, whereas a leak from water jacket to crank case will depend on a number of items if creating bubbles. Blow by within the engine, crank case breather, etc. Best call would be remove the head, and see what you find.
