i believe they are going to a 4.75 bore on the now,the block is the same as the others have said but the pistons also have to be changed if you put a 466 crank in it.for a cheap big cube engine get a set of sleeves and pistons out of a 504 case and have them machined-(sleeves are too long and need o-ring grooves added)a set of IH rods and a 466 crack get 540ci.also the 400 series had 2 styles of rods,you will want the slyle with the cap at a angle and a good set of rod bolts.
