I don't know which way a 354 rotor bug turns, but you can pull the cap, crank the engine, and figure that out.

Then roll the engine until No. 1 is at top dead center on compression (use your thumb over the open spark plug hole).

Put wire from No.1 to the post nearest where the rotor bug is pointing, then proceed with No. 3, 4, and 2 in the direction of bug rotation.

If you can't figure my description out, get a friend who works on car engines to help.
