the serial number is FS147###, so according to the list on the site here, it is a late 1939 model. the funny thing is, one of my neighbors stopped and said it looks like an H steering wheel on it. he guessed that if it was a real late F-14, it is possible they started changing over to newer model parts as production wound down. i thought that was kind of interesting.
as for tires, i couldn't even guess if they are original style or not. i believe the wheels are original though. andy b.
