You can go to your GM dealer and get a can of "Top Engine Cleaner," or go to your auto parts store and get a can of "Casite," which is manufactured/marketed by the Hastings piston rings folks. Either will do an excellent job of removing excess carbon buildup...and if you've got valves sticking due to carbon buildup on the stems, I can personally recommend "Casite" to take care of the problem. Read and follow label directions, as they say.
