Had the same thing happen with my Cub. Very slow drip through the shut-off valve stem which is also directly above the engine/bell housing connection. I was in a small shed with the tractor when she went off. I must have sat on the tractor for a full 3 minutes, dazed & deaf... A cub is a great little farm tractor. But who would imagine it could be the main attraction at a 4th of July fireworks display.
