That is a relief valve. You can pipe point A to point B but you will just be pumping oil out of bottom of resorvoir and back into top with no way to put it to any use. All you need is control valve plumbed between pressure line from relief valve and return line back into top of resorvoir.If you take relief valve out of system you stand good chance of stripping pump drive gears. Flex line after relief valve looks like it is about ready to burst and give someone hot oil bath.
