You have a kerosene head. i'm surprised your compression is that good -- justin, on your web page, you list the C248 distillate compression as 96, is kerosene any different? Dave-- I'm kind of grasping at straws -- You have a distributer, that is unusual for a 41 -- do you have the point gap set at 0.020, I don't know why that would cause only one cylinder not to fire. You can't have a bad valve with that kind of compression. Have you adjusted the valves? -- 0.017 hot. It almost sounds as if the number 2 exhaust valve is not opening, but I really don't the symptoms for that problem, perhaps not enough air, and the fuel does not ignite. Anyway, it won't hurt to check your valve clearance.
