If you really think you have ignition I would go along with Wayne maybe a worn cam lobe. Compression check may not reveal. Cylinder may be filling at slow cranking speed but not at running speed. You could try a dynamic compression check (see below). Or pull the valve cover and measure the valve lift on good and bad cylinders. Inspect the valve rockers etc., closely. You can also look for intake manifold leak or crack at #2. http://www.misterfixit.com/dyncompr.htm
