the 8043D is the later H head, I have found them on mostly tractors around 1950. they are the same chamber as the 8043DD on the late 350 gas. for a good noticable difference, the 8043D,DD, will over an older distillant, or all fuel head. A good set of firecraters compliment this cyl head chamber. With a super H-350 manifold and carb, you would have a pretty good H. It can be milled a max of .125, but will not last in the fields, it would be ok for the track. .075 max for working tractors. Hope this helps. Chad
