Good grief. All this and you still haven't answered the basic question about what the tractor is doing when you engage the starter. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HIT THE STARTER BUTTON? If the engine doesn't even roll over when you hit the starter, you can replace ignition components until the sun goes supernova, and it won't help. When diagnosing a problem, you have to observe what is happening and make logical educated guesses as to what the problem is. So far, you've just gotten out the "parts shotgun" and blasted away at random.
